CHAKRA’S & ENERGY
Einstein said, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”
Match the Frequency?! It’s funny to think that if we looked down at our bodies through the most powerful magnifying glass, we would see lots of moving energy-producing particles buzzing about.
Perhaps we should be asking ourselves, ‘How am I vibrating today?’ instead of the usual ‘How am I doing?!’
Understanding more about our own vibrations, our individual energy bodies, is believed to be a big step towards improving our overall health and well-being.
In this article I will explain a little about how we can begin to acknowledge and manage our vibrational body, working with an ancient energy system: THE CHAKRA SYSTEM.
Thoughts, Behaviours & Surroundings
Let’s have a look back through that powerful magnifying glass… You see those busy vibrating particles, well what if I told you we have the power to speed up or slow down these particles by changing our thoughts, our behaviours and even our surroundings.
If you’re in the camp that believe that the concept of vibrating energy fields in the body sounds more to do with ‘spirit’ than ‘medicinal’, then stay with me a little longer..
We need a check in!
The physical body as we know it:
1. The visible, the part we get to see & feel every day! This body is made up of 10 systems that include the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine,
cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and the reproductive system.
2. The invisible but ever vibrating and flowing source of energy that helps regulate and boost our overall well-being, we shall call this The Chakra System.
THE CHAKRA SYSTEM
Let’s take our minds back to our buzzing vibrating selves, so if these energy producing particles are constantly creating energy - it makes sense that the body has a method of moving energy around in a clever way. And it does! Similar to how blood flows through our veins and arteries, energy travels along channels in the body called meridians & nadis, and where these channels meet - we find a chakra, a powerful energy centre. If you’ve ever had acupuncture or reflexology, you may be familiar with ‘meridians’ - and know that these powerful energy channels work to support our nervous system, major organs, and glands. After a treatment, you may have even felt the transformational after effect on your emotional & physical well-being.
THE CHAKRAS!
The word CHAKRA comes from ancient Indian texts that are said to have first mentioned the energy system. Chakra means “wheel” in English and you can imagine the chakras like wheels of flowing energy; comparable to a watermill, when energy is flowing effortlessly through these wheels, they spin, propelling energy forwards. The travelling energy flows to nerve bundles and regulates the function of specific organs and glands in our body.
A healthy and happy chakra system is when these wheels are spinning efficiently, and effortlessly. ‘Dis-ease’ can develop when the wheels slow down or even, God forbid, grinds to a pain staking holt!
How will I know if my CHAKRA SYSTEM is working efficiently?
Your physical, emotional, intellectual, social & spiritual experience of life will thrive. You will be reaping the rewards in the many areas of your well-being.
Where are the CHAKRA’S in the body?
While we cannot prove their whereabouts with a seeing eye or an x-ray machine, the chakras do have a physical position in the body and the 7 main chakras, that we’ll look at, are found along our spine.
💜💙🩵💚💛🧡♥️
You’ll notice that each of the 7 chakras here has its own number, colour, a name that correlates to a specific body area, the organs and the glands they regulate. Each chakra also has a direct effect on a relatable area of our life.
