TAROT

A tarot reading always comforts me.

Like Nature, you know that feeling when you’re stuck in your head worrying about bills or whether your son is going to be disappointed as you forgot to book him onto football club that evening… and then you step outside, into the natural world, and with each step there’s a sense of returning home to a calm space, grounding into what really matters. A soothing & comforting feeling of trust starts to expand in my heart. Somehow, someway… i realise that everything is unfolding exactly as it is meant to. That there’s some kind of greater plan. I’m not saying I know the finer details - but it’s just a feeling. That we ain’t meant to know it all, all we do is remain curious and to learn… forever students of life.

If only someone had provided me with a book on how to live in the most harmonious way on planet earth! No such luck! I’ve learned how to navigate my way, through the ups and downs. I often think of life like that scene out of Raiders of the Lost Dark, when Harrison Ford has to go through a series of ancient boogie traps to get to the holy grail. There’s a similar type of course in The Goonies! Showing my age now … 😉

The tarot, for me, is like that walk in nature, it reminds me that my essence is part of a wider network. I begin to feel serene and at peace as the stories start to evolve from the cards, and the space I drop into feels still and quiet. It’s empowering as it reminds me that I have choices, that I have the power to make changes, and it illuminates where I might need to heal my anger, or cleanse my emotions and discern my own way using my intuition.

I detach from the drama I found myself in moments before, and the way seems clear and uncomplicated.

A tarot reading shifts any feelings of disappointment or worries that ‘I’m running out of time… help!’ Or ‘I’ve missed the boat!!’ … It comforts, signalling that everything that has occurred and felt up until this moment is somehow working in my favour. And if I have to repeat a lesson, it’s helping me evolve, to see my worth and perhaps ultimately sculpt me into an efficient tool to help others.

It puts the power back into my hands.
