SUN: Since March 20th the Sun has been in Aries. The symbol of Aries is a ram, indicating that it’s okay to be our boldest, most independent selves. Aries teaches us that it is really important to take care of ourselves, so that we can give our purpose and loved ones the energy they deserve.
Sun moves in to Taurus on April 20th. The
excitement of fiery Aries gives way to the slower and steadier vibes of Taurus season. Our energy begins to ground, and your focus may turn more to matters of security and stability. A few home improvements may be in the offing. Use this slower-paced time to enjoy life’s simple pleasures — good food, music, and quality time with loved ones.

A Solar Eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and the earth, causing the moon to cast a shadow on Earth. It can be an extra powerful time, so you’ll want to make the most of your new moon rituals this month!

A RETROGRADE
Mercury Retrograde! The planet of communication, Mercury, will be turning retrograde on April Fool’s Day, April 1st.
This is a period of time where the planet Mercury moves slower than the Earth around the sun. It takes Mercury 88 days to make its way around the sun compared to the Earth’s 365 days — so when it goes slower, it creates a sort of optical illusion that it’s moving backwards.
What does a retrograde mean for us? A chance to rein in our Aries tendancy to action too many plans, and instead look back at past projects, and reflect on our current relationships and life circumstances. From 1-25th April, with Mercury spinning backwards in Aries, we may feel a leeeetle frustrated in expressing our emotions. So find that hobby or physical activity that helps you relax, this could be a great time to get creative.
Helpful advice! Mercury is said to rule communication, news, travel, technology, gossip and information so when in retrograde often gets the rep for throwing us a few curveballs. Double check plans, be clear as you can with communication and don’t throw your laptop out the window if the Wi-Fi gets choppy.
FULL MOONS allow us to release the old and make way for the new. This is a time of healing and reflection, to connect with our emotions. May be an emotional one this month as the time of Mercury Retrograde draws to a close and our full moon glows in Scorpio!
